God has granted Alicia M. West with numerous gifts and talents. Alicia has endured numerous challenges in her life from which she has grown. She believes that every experience and lesson learned should be used to be a blessing to others. These experiences created a drive within her to never be complacent, but to always strive for greatness in spite of past or current situations.

Alicia utilizes her gifts, talents and experiences by mentoring youth, especially young ladies. She has helped to develop classes, seminars, conferences and workshops for not only youth, but also men, women and married couples. She actively serves her community as a mentor and facilitator.

Alicia is a native of Peoria, IL. and a 1988 graduate of Peoria High School (Central).

She earned an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from Indiana Wesleyan University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.

Alicia is currently employed with Anthem, Inc. as a Technical Project Analyst.

Alicia has embraced the importance of helping others and over the years has been involved as facilitator for the Precious Miss Program with Center for Leadership Development, a mentor with Girls, Inc., a facilitator through the Delta GEMS program, served on the Board of Community Alliance of the Far Eastside (C.A.F.E.), served as a volunteer through the Coalition for Homelessness, Indiana Black Expo and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. Alicia also was a participant in the Leadership Development Program through National Government Services and the recipient of the Outstanding Professional Award at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Alicia enjoys reading, singing, spending time with friends, sharing her wisdom with the world and finding the best bargain.

Alicia M. West is married to Minister Caryl R. West and has four wonderful children – CaDarryl, Jordan, Kiersten and Ryan, two grand-daughters, Zhara and Charli and one grandson, Bryson, who are the joy of her life.
